The Seneca Lodge has grown up with the Village of Watkins Glen. The main lodge was built in time for the first Grand Prix in The Glen, in 1948... the first post WWII road race in America. The Lodge's founder, Don Brubaker, helped bring the races and archery competitions to the area. The Brubaker family still runs the resort today, providing friendly, comfortable accommodations and relaxation for guests who come back year after year.
| "The guest who loves a combination of outdoor activity and relaxation will find Seneca Lodge a most desirable resort." Don Brubaker, founder of the Seneca Lodge, in 1947
